I heard a stat...that it's been eleven years since Miami beat Indianapolis. If that's true, you can chalk much of that up to the fact that a guy named Peyton Manning was playing quarterback for Indy during much of that time.
I know the Fins lost in the 4th quarter when the two teams faced eachother last season. I wound up missing most of that game because my baby wound up being born on that day. I had to leave the house during the first quarter...but have a beautiful 10 month old girl to show for it now, so it's okay. Daddy loves you Kyleigh!
Back to football. Miami's Defensive front seven looks fierce, but there are some injuries to the defensive backs which concerns me when you're going up against a QB like Andrew Luck.
Still, I think the Dolphins can go after Luck, sack him a few times, get him out of his rhythm and maybe get an INT for a TD. Too much to ask? Hopefully not.
Prediction: Fins get the running game going just a bit (can't be worse than last week), defense takes over. Dolphins 27 - Colts 24.
What do you think about that?
Kickoff is 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Game is on CBS 12 and you can listen live to Real Radio 94.3.
