North America To Hold 2026 World Cup

The votes are in and it is confirmed that North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico) will be hosting the 2026 World Cup! This is the first time North America will hold the cup since 1994. The deciding vote was between us and Morocco with the final tally being 134-65.

World Cup

The 2026 games will be hosted in 16 official cities in North America and 10 of those will be in the United States. Rumor has it, Miami could be a likely city to host one of the matches. Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, is listed as a possible venue!

This will not be the first time Miami has tried to host the cup. In 1994, the stadium tried to host matches, but the spot was given to Orlando due to Hard Rock Stadium being used for the Marlins. With the Marlins in their own ballpark today, Hard Rock can definitely accommodate the World Cup! The official cities to host games will be announced in 2021.

We know that this cup is a long 8 years away, but the excitement is sure to start building as final decisions are made!
